The qualities of a Brick Master
Who were we looking for?
Participants selected to take part in the Brick Masterclass demonstrated the following qualities we identified as crucial to the “new generation of bricklayer”:
- Completed a Certificate III qualification in bricklaying Passionate (having demonstrated initiative and a love for their trade)
- Outstanding technical and craft skills
- Success – demonstrated by having accomplished a lot for their age or showing initiative
- Leadership – should already lead a team or have demonstrated the potential to do so
- Understanding the building & construction industry with the vision and drive to want to make a difference.
We are proud to present our selected 11 Brick Masters for 2010, and we look forward to following their careers into the future.
