LIW – Who we are
LIW designed and developed the Brick Masterclass 2010 program and facilitated the week.
LIW is a Leadership Strategy, Assessment and Development consultancy. Since 1995, LIW has partnered with client companies to create the foundations necessary for growth and success by developing strong leaders at every level. These are leaders who can think and act intelligently, swiftly and innovatively whilst meeting the challenges of an ever-changing, fast-paced, world.
Our purpose is to assist clients to develop a legacy of leadership – leadership inherent in a company that transcends any individual. This is built through a consistent approach to leadership processes and leadership development at all levels; a sustainable framework that creates the ‘conditions for success’.
Therefore LIW focus on programs that develop the ‘Doing’ and the ‘Being’ of leadership. This Leadership Intelligence™ is based upon providing leaders with the knowledge and skills, as well as an understanding of the behaviours and attitudes required to be a leader.
We believe that this method is very relevant to leading bricklayers, whether they are a business of one (managing and leading themselves) or a business of many (managing and leading themselves, others, teams, or in fact businesses.
Our program methodology integrates adult learning principles, experiential simulations and exercises and leading edge leadership theory. Our participants experience a dynamic, learning environment that consistently applies theory into the real life applicable examples, giving practical and relevant meaning and providing true return on investment.
Facilitators
Ken Huth
Ken specialises in creating lasting change in teams and individuals through experiential learning. A practicing psychologist, Ken’s career includes roles in the private and public sector including coaching at all levels of organisations and working with youth.
Liane McGrath
Coach, facilitator and communications expert, Liane is a seasoned leader with an extensive career in marketing management spanning a wide range of industries including professional services, consumer products, manufacturing and automotive.
